In 1995 Dr. Assil came to Los Angeles to partner with Dr. Robert Sinskey, known as the father of modern-day cataract surgery. Together, they created what is now known as the Assil Gaur Eye Institute (AGEI) with clinics in Beverly Hills and Santa Monica, California.

 

Today, AGEI is a celebrated, world-known ophthalmology practice recognized for its standard-setting level of care and continuous efforts to advance the fields of laser eye surgery, refractive surgery, retinal diseases, intraocular lens implantation, and ICL. Dr. Assil continues to make significant advances in his field with numerous inventions and introductions of state-of-the-art eye and laser technology.
