He has a very pleasant temperament and I never feel rushed when asking him questions, etc. I treasure that you have the SM still as it’s very convenient for me and it has a very soothing office vibe.

    I didn’t expect that the place I received lasik would continue to care for me annually and I feel comforted knowing that I have continued care with the same office that did my surgery. Every time I visit this office it is exceptional, specifically the Santa Monica office. The Dr. takes the time to explain everything in detail and I never feel rushed. I have recommended this office to 2 other people. Lowest stress Medical office visit.

    I first came to Dr. Assil for Lasik in 2000 and have been a patient for 19 years. Dr. May confirmed I have 20-15 vision in both eyes to this day . In 2001 I moved from Los Angeles to Oregon and met my wife in 2002. In 2003 Dr. Assil performed Lasik on her eyes. We travel to Los Angeles for all eye appointments and services and couldn't appreciate you more!

    The staff was great. Kind, communicative and accommodating. The technician was professional and explained each step in the exam. The doctor was friendly (remembered me from many years ago), professional, explained the technical stuff in easily understandable terms. The facility was warm and welcoming.     I have been going to Assil Gaur Eye Institute for many years (starting when it was the Sinskey Eye Institute) and also took my mother there. Dr. Assil performed the cataract surgery on both of my eyes. I go to the Santa Monica office for eye care. Aaron the Manager and Dr. May and the entire staff there are all exemplary people. I am grateful to Dr. Assil and to them for being there and would not want to go any place else. My experience at the Beverly Hills office was also exceptional and fine. As you can tell, I am a very satisfied patient!

    In all the years I have been a patient with the Assil Gaur Eye Institute, 2 fabulous LASIK surgeries and years of annual visits, I feel like I have been blessed to know such nice and wonderful staff and doctors at the Assil Institute. I am a little partial to the SM office for its convenience & my first LASIK surgery w/Dr Assil. Everyone in the SM office and the staff in BH office have been truly wonderful. From Dr Y, who gave me the news that I needed to have a touch up LASIK to Dr Vogel who took such great care of my allergy dry eyes during summers, both of whom I will miss very much. Dr Mayes taking me thru my second LASIK in BH with Dr Assil and now returning to SM office. That said, I feel confident my eye health will continue to be in good hands. Thank you Dr Assil for keeping your Santa Monica office open and staffed with such wonderful doctors & assistants over the years! And thank you for doing both my LASIK surgeries, turns out the second surgery was even better than my first. I am so grateful to have both distance & reading eyes without use of any glasses or contact lenses.
